It was a grand celebration of the power of women at Karma Yogini Sangamam on March 2nd, where 50,000 women gathered for a historic event featuring a Sanyasini Puja and inspiring talks by eminent speakers.
With Amma as the guest of honour, she highlighted India’s rich history of courageous women whose selfless service has uplifted countless lives. She shared her vision of a future where women stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men, shaping a world rooted in dignity, equality, and dharma. Amma expressed confidence that the near future will witness the victorious rise of women, bringing transformation to society.
The event was organized by Seva Bharathi Dakshin Tamil Nadu, at Amrita University’s Nagercoil campus. Seva Bharati, a national social service organization, works to empower the underprivileged through education, health, and self-reliance. Among the attendees were members of Vaibhavashree, Seva Bharati’s women’s self-help group initiative.
