Amma’s public event at Amrita Vidyalayam in Semmadai, Karur, drew thousands of devotees eager to receive her blessings. Speaking on the need for harmony with nature, Amma emphasized that every calamity—whether a pandemic, natural disaster, or climate change—reminds humankind to cultivate cooperation, companionship, and communion. She urged everyone to respect and protect nature, warning that while Mother Nature has shown patience and compassion, she is also a powerful force.
The event began with a ceremonial welcome by distinguished guests, including Advocate Gunasekaran, Justice R. Shanmuga Sundaram, MLA Saraswathi, Swamini Yatheeshwari Amritapriya, and other dignitaries. Thousands of women received sarees as part of the Amrita Self-Help Group initiative. Amma’s satsang was followed by meditation and bhajans, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere. She then personally embraced each devotee, continuing well into the early hours of the morning.
With careful arrangements made for the large gathering, free food (annadanam) was provided to all attendees.
